A new journal, a new site, a new name
Apr. 14th, 2009 12:59 amSo, those of you who figured I'd pick something new when I came to Dreamwidth probably didn't see this one coming, huh?
Ashurbadaktu seemed the obvious choice, with maybe daniidebrabant or debrabantknight coming in afterwards.
However, just like when I moved out of my parent's house and cut my hair, it seemed the moment to rename myself. Pick something fresh, give myself a new goal. Ashurbadaktu is still good, I guess, as I work towards dealing with and accepting my inner hellbitch, but this name means a lot of things.
It represents my bizarre elementally categorized view of the world.
It represents my writing efforts.
It represents my life goals, to get down to the basics and make myself happy.
And it was a way of doing something that broke away from the old, a way of changing my usual pattern, that felt good.
